To be fair, the specs for the GPU in the N810 says it can clock at 700MHz (iirc) but actually doing so makes the hardware unstable, so that might actually be a lie.
Then again, I bet Symbian doesn't expect the SIM to be hotswapped, and changing Symbian is a lot of effort. :)

A fair point - capable hardware needs to be combined with suitable software. I just don’t understand why you’d make a hot-swap SIM port and *not* update the firmware. There are plenty of dual SIM mods for Nokia phones - I don’t know how Symbian copes with them.
